I meant an index entry.
When I wrote the previous message, I didn't have the Gawk manual
nearby, so I couldn't check. Now I do, and sure thing, typing
"i sub TAB TAB" in the stand-alone Info reader shows, among others,
this entry:
sub built-in function
like I expected ;-)
Did I ever say that the Gawk manual is one of the best I ever read?
