Thanks for the report. This is due to the libtool-1.4 which is used in
gettext-0.11. In gettext-0.11.1 I'll use libtool-1.4.2. It fixes this
problem.

18 tests? On platforms without iconv, usually only 10 tests fail.
I'd be glad to hear details.
