Discrepancy between Info and manual page (--exclude option)

Hello. I just want to report a discrepancy between the Info manual
and the manual page related to the tar --exclude option (as well as
the --exclude-from option) on my Mandrake8.1 GNU/Linux distribution.

I apolozige if this message is not appropriate.

The manual page gives

       --exclude FILE
              exclude file FILE

       -X, --exclude-from FILE
              exclude files listed in FILE

whereas the Info manual says

        `--exclude=PATTERN'
When performing operations, `tar' will skip files that match
             PATTERN.

        `--exclude-from=FILE'
        `-X FILE'
Similar to `--exclude', except `tar' will use the list of patterns
             in the file FILE.

# info --version
info (GNU texinfo) 4.0

# man --version
man, version 1.5i1

# tar --version
tar (GNU tar) 1.13.22
