looping over messages from locale catalog

Hi,

I am using gettext (GNU gettext) 0.11.2 for a software project and now need to
loop over all messages contained in a locale message catalog.
The reason is, I need to generate a xsl-file (stylesheet) which does the i18n.
I have investigated the capabilities for libintl, but have not found such 
functionality.
Have I overseen it, or is there no such functionality present at the moment?

I've got the suggestion to write to this email addres from the translations-list
(address@hidden). I am sorry if it is not the right place. I found not definite
source in the info-pages. Please suggest me the right place then.
