Hi, I got a problem with GNU tar. I need the / at the beginning of the path. 
When I do 

tar cvf /dev/rmt/0 /data04/file I got the following  messages: Removing leading 
 / from member names.

How can I get the / at the beginning of the path?? Thanks Karina
