We are on a mission to get the date(1) command to print
2002-05-31 19:46:41
using shortcuts. Welcome aboard.
$ date -I
2002-05-31
$ date -I +%X
19:39:33
$ date -I +%X -I
19:39:39
$ date -Idate +%T #you must at least admit this is uncool:
19:45:40
$ set `date -I;date +%T`;echo $@
2002-05-31 19:46:41
Yes, I could have used
$ date +%Y-%m-%d\ %T
but I wanted all to see some interaction that seems less than ideal.
Date version=2.0.
