#1)
In regards to my earlier submitted bug, never mind (I found there were a
variety of
files around that gettextize added, that I didn't know about, and of
course I needed
to work out which ones were source files, and add them to our project
repository).
#2)
In regards to the option
xgettext:no-c-format
you are a genius -- this is exactly what I needed (now that msgfmt
considers an
apparently misaligned printf specifier to be a fatal error).
#3)
In regards to default values in the po header (which msgfmt also now
considers
to be fatal errors).
/usr/bin/msgfmt: de.po: field `Language-Team' still has initial
default value
/usr/bin/msgfmt: found 1 fatal error
Are there any rules or suggestions about what should go in Language-Team
when it
wasn't done by the Free Translation Project ? I will of course proceed
to experiment
with free-form text, but I mention this so you might consider whether
this should
go into future versions of the manual. It isn't clear, at least to
myself, what to
do here.
Cordially,
Perry
