I want to create an archive including the contents of foo/bar/ and the
metadata of foo/, but not other contents of foo/. This seems to work:
tar -c --no-recursion foo --recursion foo/bar
But the info doesn't make it clear that this is *supposed* to work.
Is this an accident, or is it safe to rely on this?
