unresolvable relocation against symbol `std::basic_ios<char,
std::char_traits<char> >::clear(std::_Ios_Iostate)' from .stab section
/usr/local/bin/ld: ./debug/m27_bof.o: warning: unresolvable relocation
against symbol `std::basic_ios<char, std::char_traits<char>
>::clear(std::_Ios_Iostate)' from .gnu.linkonce.t.
_ZNSt9basic_iosIcSt11char_traitsIcEE8setstateESt12_Ios_Iostate section
with the message "collect2: ld terminated with signal 11 [Segmentation
Fault]"
This bug is reported here in the format required by you
ld version : GNU ld 2.11.2
Patches applied : 109148-15 ( for Solaris 8 )
Type of machine : It's Intel Solaris 8 machine with Sun OS 5.8
GCC version : gcc version 3.0.4 and ld version 2.11.2
Set of input files : No file is attached as the code is confidential. I

The observable behavious : In linking phase of the application when
linking m27_bof.o , the linker gives segmentation fault with signal 11 -
