Generally speaking, whenever you see that message, your tar file has
been corrupted somehow, and you should get a corrected copy and start
over with the correct copy.

Can you please send plain text email as plain text?  It saves me time
and makes it less likely that your email will be wrongly considered to
be spam.  Thanks.
