this one is fixed in development version, 2.5.1.

Currently available only from the CVS.  I can mail you the instructions
if you won't find them on www.gnu.org pages.

I'm not sure but these may be also fixed either by upgrade to 2.5.1 or by
--with-included-regex option to ./configure script.
