I am having problems with the find command. I am wondering if this
problem is due to a bug...
I am using Mandrake Linux 9 (findutils 4.1.7)
Here's what it does (or doesn't do...)
When I type in:
find / -name <somefile> find almost always comes back with this message:
. changed during execution of find
It then exits. Sometimes it works if I run it more than once. Other
times it doesn't.
Rarely, it won't even execute at all. I use it a lot so I need it to
work. I've tried recompiling it from source
but my GCC 3.2 just exited with errors.
Ihope you can help.
Thanks very much and have a great day!
