What means "few" in grep man page? Man page says about --binary

: By default, under MS-DOS and MS-Windows, grep guesses the file
: type by looking at the contents of the first 32KB read from the file.

and about --binary-files

: If the first few bytes of a file indicate that the file contains
: binary data - -

I have understand that "few" in english means something like 3..10, but
that doesn't seem to be case with grep man page.
