WHAT IS THIS?
You received an email message that contained a computer virus or had a
suspicious file attachment.
WHAT HAPPENED?
MailScanner detected a virus or suspicious file extension in your
incoming email and either cleaned it or quarantined the file.
MailScanner also added "{Virus?}" to the Subject header and added a
text report named "UofC_IT_Virus_Warning.txt" to message. In it is
the name of the virus and attachment.
WHAT DO I DO?
This message is clean. You can open it or delete it from your mailbox.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
If you would like IT to investigate this message, forward the entire
message (including full headers and attachments) to address@hidden
If you want to retrieve the suspicious attachment from quarantine,
contact the IT Help Desk at 220-5555 (address@hidden).
