Hi!
I am trying to archivate an amount of 40GB of data from an IDE-DISK to
a SCSI tape.
I use GNU tar 1.3.25 additionally patched by the attached patches
(w/o patch-ae).
The tar command I use is the following:
/bin/tar -b 32 -f /dev/tape -z -c --absolute-names --checkpoint .
>>"${BACKUP_LOG}"
The output is this:
[...]
/bin/tar: Write checkpoint 885660
/bin/tar: Write checkpoint 885670
/bin/tar: Write checkpoint 885680
/bin/tar: Write checkpoint 885690
./archivate.sh: line 58: 1382 Segmentation fault ${TAR} -c
--absolute-names --checkpoint . >>"${BACKUP_LOG}"
How can I help out fixing the crash?
CU,
Christoph Egger
