This is not the appropriate mailing list, because
  - perl gettext-1.03 is not part of GNU gettext, we rather recommend
    libintl-perl (also not part of GNU gettext),
  - missing dependencies are problems of the packaging, in gentoo in
    this case, not of the source package.
