grep errors

From: Geoff Hardin
Subject: grep errors
Date: Wed, 10 Aug 2005 12:59:47 -0500

There were errors encountered during the 'make check' portion of
building grep version 2.5. Additional errors were encountered because
the test files (tests/*.sh ) were not executable. After making that
change, I still ran into this one failure.

Environment:
Sun SPARC Solaris 9
gcc (GCC) 3.4.2
GNU bash, version 2.05.0(1)-release (sparc-sun-solaris2.9)

Make check output:
Please, do not be alarmed if some of the tests failed.
Report them to <address@hidden>,
with the line number, the name of the file,
and grep version number 'grep --version'.
Make sure you have the word grep in the subject.
Thank You.
