So, as I understand it, with that particular version of 'mktemp',
"mktemp -d -q ..." doesn't output the name of the directory it just created?
That sounds like a bug to me, because how could a script or program that
wants to store some contents in the directory actually do that? Guessing
the directory name through `ls -t | head -1` or some such is unreliable.
