gettext 0.15 build problem

Hi there,
I just tried building gettext 0.15 under Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.7.
In both cases the build dies with:
...
creating fc5
Making all in examples
Makefile:1442: *** missing separator. Stop.
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
Any ideas?
