The version of gawk in CVS is temporarily broken. It passed "make check"
on my 64 bit Linux machine at work, but doesn't under 32 bit Linux.
It will get fixed, as soon as I possibly can fix it. I will send out
another announcement when it's working again.
In the meantime, no need to notify me about it.
