I don't know. I would think that the 32-bit versions would run under a
binary-compatibility mode, but I don't have any experience with the 64
bit versions of XP.

If you have access to a compiler that produces 64 bit code you should
be able to compile gawk directly.

Perhaps someone else knows better.
