cmp: output of differing byte values in octal is undocumented and may not be apparent

When comparing files using "cmp -l", the fact that cmp outputs the
differing bytes in octal seems not to be documented anywhere. This can
lead to some nasty surprises for someone not "in the know".
Also, the output itself in no way suggests that the byte values are in
octal (e.g. by using an initial digit '0'), so unless there are
differing bytes with values > (decimal) 175, there is nothing to suggest
that they are.

I understand that changing cmp to output octal values using a leading
'0' could lead to older scripts breaking, so I would like to ask to at
least consider updating the documentation on this.
