Hi Arnold,

in awkcard.ps created from awkcard.in in the current CVS-version of 
gawk-stable there is the following documentation bug (search for 
fflush in the section OUTPUT CONTROL on sheet 6):

     If no file, then flush standard output. If file is null, then
     flush all open output files and pipes (not Bell Labs awk).

This is wrong. As in the file FIXES of Bell Labs can be read:

  Jan 1, 2002:
        fflush() or fflush("") flushes all files and pipes.

Probably the bug can also be found in gawk-devel. (I didn't looked 
there.)

gawk.texi and gawk.1 seems to be clean w.r.t. this bug.
