Hello --
Thank you for maintaining GNU sharutils. I'm sending this email to report a
minor documentation issue.
I'm using an Ubuntu 22.04 GNU/Linux system with GNU sharutils 4.15.2. I was
looking at the uuencode man page today and noticed that the DESCRIPTION section
says:
---
Specifically, email cannot handle binary data and will often even insert a
character when the six character sequence "0rom " is seen.
---
To my understanding, that should actually be the character sequence "\nFrom ".
It seems like the "\nF" sequence is getting interpreted somehow.
This is not a serious issue because it doesn't affect functionality -- just a
documentation nit that left me confused for a bit.
Thanks and regards,
Rain
