This is listed in the TODO:

** Allow resuming interrupted rollouts, and extending completed rollouts.

I've briefly considered it. 

Instead of using random dice gnubg uses some pseudo-random dice for
variance reduction (e.g., if you select 36 games the first roll in the
first game will be 11, the first roll in the second game is 21 etc etc). 

I'm not quite sure how to combine this with extending rollouts.
