Hallo,

I tried to use GNU Back Gammon, which realy looks nice.
I tried to use gnubg 0.12.
Unfortunately I failed terrible.

Solaris 5.8
===========

Compilation
-----------

On Solaris 5.8 compilation of gtkgame.c (here RunGTK) failes.
Enclosed an extract from the compiler:

gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -I./lib -I/usr/gnu/include/gtk-1.2
-I/usr/gnu/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/gnu/lib/glib/include -I/usr/openwin/include
  -g -O2 -c gtkgame.c
gtkgame.c: In function `RunGTK':
gtkgame.c:2090: `FASYNC' undeclared (first use in this function)
gtkgame.c:2090: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
gtkgame.c:2090: for each function it appears in.)
make[2]: *** [gtkgame.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/data/OS/SunOS/5.8/sw/gnu/gnubg-0.12'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/data/OS/SunOS/5.8/sw/gnu/gnubg-0.12'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

Since I have already seen, that there are some fixes in the newer version,
I assume at least, that parts of the problems are already known?

Could ypu please let me know your opinion on that topic?

Kind Regards

Peter Klein
