I am running on solaris 2.6 (5.6)

in po, The configure script does not find the gnu msgget.

manually change the Makefile:
GMSGFMT = msgfmt

and at lines 173 174 remove the --statistics.

That works for me.

Solaris 5.8
===========

Compilation
-----------

On Solaris 5.8 compilation of po subdir failes.
Enclosed an extract from the compiler:

Making all in po
make[2]: Entering directory `/home/data/OS/SunOS/5.8/sw/gnu/gnubg_021031/po'
: --update da.po gnubg.pot
rm -f da.gmo && : -c --statistics -o da.gmo da.po
mv: cannot stat `t-da.gmo': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [da.gmo] Error 1

What did I miss here?
Is there a workarround to continue compilation?
(Since I am interessted in gtkgame mainly!

Kind Regards
