No, "computer moves off" really means "no board (score, pip count,
position id, and actual board updates on computer moves"). Perhaps the
dialog should be changed to reflect this.
The idea is not to waste any time on screen updates for
computer-vs-computer sessions.
I really recommand using gnubg-nogui.exe for such experiments as it'll
be substantionally faster!
