I cannot support too strongly your proposal, I keep juggling with positions to compute Take Point >tables with various GWC. The Market Window panel is alreasy outstanding, this would make it perfect >on earth!!!
Slight correction on my own post, I realize I expressed myself the wrong way (cf. below what I meant to say) : obviously TP are a theoretical value independent from GWC and the Market Window panel is an independent calculator as Jorn mentioned.
Still, it would be nice to have GWC(1) and (2) as Massimiliano suggested : for instance, I've been working for quite some time on a database of ref. positions. For a given type of position (prime, blitz, etc...) I'm juggling with checkers to reach a position where GWC are as close as possible to TP, at some key match scores and for a more or less *given rate of gammons* (obviously depending on the nature of the position).
Having the additional fields W1 and W2 available would avoid following manipulations : after 'building' from scratch the position, in order to check if GWC match almost exactly TP (under the gammon rate conditions I want), I have to check Evaluation or Hint and then check Gammon rates and TP in the Theory panel, and back and forth 3 or 4 times before I reach a satisfactory ref. position.
