Your email suggests you are running Windows, in which case I'm not
sure how one builds the .gmo files from an is.po file. I am more than
willing for you to email me your file whenever you want a trial
version and I will ensure it builds and get it committed to CVS so
that Nardy's and Oystein's sites will have Windows builds the next
day. It may be that all the gettext tools have been ported to Windows,
perhaps someone else can answer in that case.

It's easy if you are running a Unix variant - Linux/xxBSD/Solaris,
then it's pretty easy:

Set up a build environment for building gnubg and check that it
actually builds for you. When that works:

go to gnubg/po.
remove stamp.po
edit LINGUAS and add 'is' at the end
change to the gnubg directory and do a make clean,
Put your is.po in your gnubg/po directory
go to the gnubg directory and do a configure, then do a make - I'd
advise doing make 2>&! | tee make.out so that if there are errors in
the make run, you will have a copy. If there are errors, edit is.po to
fix them, then try another make (you won't need to re-configure). When
it seems to work, you should be able to run gnubg with your
translations, although you may need to export LANG=is_IS.ISO8859-1 (or
ISO8859-15 if you want the Euro symbol).
