[Bug-gnubg] Calibration questions

If I start a calibration, the number in the window gradually goes down. Is this 
to be expected?

Usually it starts at about 18,000 and drops by about 1000 in the first minute. 
After about 3 minutes it has levelled off.


Stopping and restarting calibration gives a much higher initial value, up 
around 20k, 40k or even 60k.

Is this normal, and what is the "correct" value to use when comparing systems?
