As far as I know (Øystein: correct me when I'm wrong?)
the Install Archive (setup.exe) from Øystein's site (checks and)
creates the Registry entry:
hkey_local_machine\software\gnubg\\Install_Dir =

It's on my machine.

(but I didn't install Øystein's setup.exe of 032707 on this machine)
