Just had the immediate-redouble error strike again, in the first game of a set. Same general condition: I had doubled once, then the computer offered me a double, and I hit the beaver button. The message was pretty generic: 

   Gnubg has caused an error in GNUG.EXE.  Gnubg will now close.
