In principle, yes you can use gnubg for a playing engine behind
another front end. Without knowing a lot more about what your front
end is, what it requires from a playing engine, what platform it is
supposed to run on, and a host of other questions, no-one will be able
to tell you how. 

You need to give a lot more information, and please, don't include
html in your emails. Many of the readers of this list don't use mail
readers which support html and don't appreciate attachments in this
format.
