FYI, just posted on r.g.b.

Hi folks,

sorry for the delay, but now we have new GNU Backgammon rpm files
for
Linux OS. Either go to the download section at http://www.gnubg.org
or
directly to http://www.acepoint.de.

You will also find daily sources and current database files there.
For
those who want to verify the packages, please take a look at the
README.

The rpms are built with support on python and sound, but without
support on the new time control and 3d-graphics. We (Oystein, Jon
and
me) still have problems getting 3d to work on NVidia hardware
acceleration.

If someone is interested, we still need help in translating gnubg.
It's easier to help than you might think. Take a look at the
Documentation section of www.gnubg.org (i18n).
