No, I'm proud to have my name there, but Thomas' paper was discussing
the creation of gnubg and (presumably) will be focusing on it's
playing and evaluation engine. Those are areas in which I can't claim to have
contributed much - the neural net and the analysis/play decision code
mostly predated anything I've done and are an area in which my
knowledge is not particularly deep - I understand the concepts but I'd
be very loath to attempt to modify or extend the code in those areas.
