Here's my views for a colour scheme.I think it's better to keep background colours for cube errors (which hopefully are fewer) otherwise it might look to garish. Doubtful checker Green FontError checker Blue Font Blunder checker Red FontDoubful cube Lilac background (the same colour as used for cube decison moves analysis in html output)Error Cube 25% grey background Blunder cube yellow backgroundLucky moves BoldUnlucky moves ItalicSo that when I make a missed double blunder whilst rolling a joker which when played is also a blunder, it all shows up! Maybe you could mock up this scheme and some from other contributers and get some feedback.
I've had a go, here's an example showing 6 of the 8 styles: http://www.jonsphotos.org.uk/bg/image1.png And a more contrived example showing multiple styles per line: http://www.jonsphotos.org.uk/bg/image2.pngAll the colours are easily changable by the user, so setting all of one type to a single colour, removing some or whatever will be easy. I like the idea of having a good mix as the default, to make it clear they can all be set differently.
