Are you running through VMware or something?

You can control the fints in the gnubg.gtkrc file. Maybe the font that I
usually supply with the installations specify a font that's not
available on your system.

font = "-unknown-tahoma-normal-r-normal-*-*-90-*-*-p-*-iso8859-1"

Try another font, or comment out that line.

Hmmm... really strange. Ric just reported the same bug (or a similar
bug). The thing is that Ric didn't got the bug on yesterdays install
(the install which came out with Czech language), but only got the bug
using todays install. This really makes me wonder because it is exactly
the same build. I have not even recompiled!
