I saw the post and took a quick look at the link - they claim to have a
C compiler that runs on the graphics card. I'm sure it would require
lots of specific NVidia functions calls (if it worked at all).
As in the other discussion, the NN/evaluation code isn't very
multi-threaded friendly - I can't imagine the potential work being worth
the unlikely gain.
In contrast to the article, dual/quad processor/cores and hyper
threading is getting much more common and the gains here are relatively
high (for the effort required). Who knows though, it might all change
in the future.
