Yes, indeed! We should also use the features of cvs better and tag and
branch things better as you indicate.

I can't think of anything except:

yes, exactly. What's missing is mainly commented in the code or
discussed at this mailing list. I can't fix these myself these days,
(I'm reading for my exams) so either if someone else can fix it, or just
temporary remove the feature.
