Right, I removed it from LINGUAS in cvs too.
On my 2.16Ghz Intel Mac I still get only 1500 static evaluations per
second. I have no clue what the problem may be.
I don't trust the speed calibration. Could you time a 2ply analysis of
a match (cube and move for both players, normal movefilter, and make
sure that you delete any existing analysis results first) and send the
match to me and I'll do the same for comparison.
