I would donate the funds to the GnuBG project to pay for that domain for 10
years (and I simply mean at .COM registrar rates)

I'm not sure who can officially make inquiry to gammonlogic asking them if
they'd be willing to give it up. I would do it myself but I'm not exactly
this projects owner (just a contributor) and won't unilaterally approach
them. Now that doesn't mean I won't publicize my peeve and my view on the
matter.
