This would be something. At least it's possible to try it out. At least the 
matrix multiplication code in neuralnet.c could use the GPU. Of course there is 
no guarantee that it will be faster, and an effort can be in vain. However -- 
at least we tried.

I also see the code in Linux Journal, November issue, and I think the code 
presented there can be used (nearly) right out of the box for our case.

I will see if I can get this working at my home computer. I'm not sure what GPU 
I have inside it.
