I'm very much for removing it too.
Gnubg GUI has so many options (some undocumented) that many
players feel lost facing them.
I'm on holiday and have some more spare time than usual, so I
ook the time to run through the entire GUI and I have a large list
of things that are candidate to be removed (imo, to be confirmed
by
others). I'll post it soon, with some other minor glitches.
Notice also that, since there's and ongoing (or about to start)
documentation effort, a cleanup of the options is very welcome.
