Subject: [Bug-gnubg] Problems importing games from BackgammonRoom site - opponents change sides or cube actions not alalyzed

Hello all,

I've just starded playing on BGroom site, and I encounter the following problems:

(1) When I open the saved games with GNU, the opponents replace sides! (not just colors, but sides). So it's confusing, and also I cannot reasonably save them to the database.
     - This happens whether I keep the option "automatic" in "open as" line, or whether I change that to "Backgammon Room Games" format.

(2) If instead I use the site's suggested built-in conversion, game by game, into GNU format, there follow:
   (a) It's cumbersome whenever many games accumulate - only a game-by-game format conversion seems to be available there.
   (b) When it is done this way, it's true that the opponents don't change sides. But GNU refuses to show evaluations each time any player offers to double! Instead it gives the message "You cannot double". Furthermore, when it analyzes the games so iconverted and mported, it fails entirely to analyze cube actions! (It does analyse checker play.)

These difficulties never arose while I was playing on GammonEmpire site.

Replacing my GNU version with the latest one didn't help either.

Can any of you suggest a solutiion?

Thanks in advance,

Adi
