Stopping Demo Mode (Self Play) is very unresponsive.

Hi

When in self-play mode I have to press the stop button multiple times for it to respond.
It's only appears to be an issue when the moves are being made very quickly (I have a fast PC)

If it's merely thinking about a play then it's not an issue.
Can this be fixed please?

I seem to remember there's a keyboard shortcut for this or am I imagining it?

I'm running on Windows 10
