Well, I think 3-line comments as in the 2008-12-17 change [1] are
copyrightable, because there are many different ways to formulate such
a comment.
copyrightable != trivial
The work required to understand how to comment wasn't trivial.
Anyway, trivial difference in semantics:

This should be LGPLv2+, as it allows a painless license upgrade when the FSF
