Hi all,Over at the live-bootstrap project (https://github.com/fosslinux/live-bootstrap) we have been using downloads from cgit on Savannah (https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnulib.git, for instance, https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnulib.git/snapshot/gnulib-d271f86.tar.gz), to get specific .tar.gz files of particular revisions of Gnulib.
However, recently it appears that this was disabled. We noticed that other repositories on Savannah's cgit still have .tar.gz's enabled, and further .tar.gz's are still downloadable from the gitweb interface.
I'd love to know if this disabling was intentional, and if so, whether there are any problems with moving to downloading from gitweb.
Kind regards, Samuel Tyler (fosslinux)PS. If this is the wrong place to ask this, please direct me somewhere else if at all possible. Also, in the (I hope, unlikely) case that this was disabled because of downloads from live-bootstrap, I am very sorry.
