I know support for DRM files such as .m4a (apple) and .aa (audible audio) will be difficult to fully implement. However, after building my initial GNUtunesDB and then syncing iTunesDB, all of my audible files (.aa) are unable to be played in the iPod.

Isn't there a way to leave references to audible files completely alone when syncing GNUtunesDB to iTunesDB? That seems to be what is happening with my .m4a files. They still play fine. I am not wanting to add .aa files using GNUpod, just not wanting it to disable the existing in iTunesDB.
