I recently down loaded GNUpod 0.94 scripts and once I retrieved the necessary
perl routines, GNUpod appeared to install correctly. I was able to mount my
Ipod mini, and the initial script gnupod_INIT.pl executed with no errors.
When I tried to add an mp3 file the script gnupod_addsong.pl gave me the
following error:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at
/usr/share/perl5/MP3/Info.pm line 87.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at
/usr/local/lib/perl/5.6.1/GNUpod/FileMagic.pm line 34.
Compilation failed in require at /usr/local/bin/gnupod_addsong.pl line
28.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/bin/gnupod_addsong.pl
line
28.
This appears to me to be a possible error with perl and not GNUpod, but I
can't be sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I am running Debian 3.0_r2. Linux 2.4.18-bf2.4, perl-5.6.
Thanks,
Kevin
